Cakes

One of my hobbies is decorating cakes. I will be posting some of the cakes I've done with my family.

Hat cake:

 I had a hat party for my birthday a few years ago. We went to a winery with all my girlfriends and we all wore hats. My sister and my mom made me this cake which was perfect for the occasion. This was the first cake we made, and Its when our love for decorating cakes started.

80's Theme cake

We made this cake for my brother in law. He had an 80's theme party and this cake was the perfect for the occasion.

Car cake

We made this cake for my husbands birthday. He loves cars, so we attempted to make a Maserati but it looked more like a Volkswagen beetle lol. It turned out great, the headlights actually worked.

 Black & White Fashion cake

We made this cake for my sister's birthday. We had a black and white party, and I couldn't think of anything better than CHANEL for the cake decorations...and of course some red soles gave the whole cake a perfect touch.

 

Baby Rump cake

We made this cake for a friends presentation on babies. It was adorable.

Dora the Explorer cake

We made this cake for my best friend's daughter. She loves Dora and we had a blast trying to create the characters.

 Baby Rump and Baby cupcakes

We made this cake for my best friends baby shower. We had already done a baby rump cake so we decided to add another special touch with the adorable baby cupcakes.

 Turkeys

I saw a picture of this turkey treats on pinterest and right away knew that I wanted to make them for thanksgiving. They were really easy to make and totally adorable. 

 Mickey Mouse Cake

I think this is by far one of my favorite cakes. This was made for my friends son's first birthday and it turned out so adorable. The head was made of rice crispy,  which we removed and placed over the birthday boy's head for pictures.

 All about Art cake

We made this cake for my mom's birthday. She loves to saw and paint so we decided to make it an, "all about art" theme cake. She loved it.
